Returns

Please notify us in writing within 14 days by emailing sales@ironmongery4u.com, include details of what it is you are returning and why, please include your invoice number.

Goods must be in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. If the goods arrive damaged, with parts missing or in damaged packaging we will be unable to process a refund, this includes damage in transit as the goods remain the customers property until we have signed and confirmed receipt. If you ensure the returns note, is included and completed fully this will help us process your refund quicker.

The goods should be returned via a tracked method, and the cost of returning the items is the customers responsibility. Remember to keep a copy of your proof of posting should there be any error in the postal service.

Ironmongery4u will process your refund less any delivery charges assuming the goods were received within 30 days from date of order and in good, re-saleable condition. Returns will be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge (25% of price paid, less any delivery charges) this is to cover administration process, receiving back, checking and re-stocking shelves.

The invoice number should be written clearly on the package.

Returns are processed within 7 working days of receipt, your credit/debit card will be credited with the original price paid, less any delivery charges.

Items Excluded From Refunds

Any products marked as bespoke, personalised or a non-stock item will be non-refundable. Please ensure the product is correct at time of ordering, this will avoid any unnecessary cost to yourself, we will be happy to help if you require any assistance before placing the order.

Faulty Items

Please check your goods thoroughly on delivery and advise us of any missing parts, faulty, damaged or incorrect goods. We will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged upon delivery or refund the amount paid for the goods to you.

Our liability in the case of claims is limited to the sum paid for the goods and the cost of carriage. We will also refund any cost of returning faulty/damaged goods to us. We will not be liable for any loss of profit, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these circumstances. Your statuatory rights are not affected.
